I’m Vince Gordon, an active duty Coast Guardsman who loves capturing meaningful moments with a keen attention to detail.
Growing up as a native from Austin, TX, I surrounded myself in the arts. From illustrating star wars characters to making stop motion movies, there was always that keen eye for solving creative problems. After enlisting in the Coast Guard at 18, Photography became an extension of my creative outlet.
Going on worldwide assignments, I wanted to leave my family with something to hold on to while away. Memories such as the experiences of crew members underway at sea, the exposure of port calls, or the memories made from the mission being complete. What started out as a hobby on the job, led to a strong passion for snapping significant images of friends, family, and civilians lives back home.
